Rich and Vincianne had the pleasure to attend the Association of Fundraising Professionals Giving Hearts Awards on National Philanthropy Day. It was a great event. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees. Every one of them provides an inspiring story on how we can make our communities better!

We especially want to congratulate Charlene Taylor from the UBC and Vancouver General Hospital Foundation and Salima Mawji from the Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation on jointly winning the Outstanding Professional Fundraiser award. In our role with the Donor Motivation Program, we have the pleasure of working closely with both Charlene and Salima. They continually inspire us with their work and dedication to helping their hospitals, as well as other fundraisers and charities throughout our community. While Charlene and Salima do not do their work for recognition, they are both extremely worthy of these awards.
